David W. Mushlin
As a partner in and co-founder of the Louisville law firm of Mushlin & Vantrease, attorney David W. Mushlin focuses his practice on the litigation of Kentucky personal injury and wrongful death claims arising out of car, truck and motorcycle accidents, slips and falls on unsafe premises, defective products, medical malpractice, assaults and criminal misconduct, and nursing home abuse and neglect.
David Mushlin spent the first ten years of his legal career as an insurance defense litigation attorney. He represented some of the largest corporations in the world and defended doctors, hospitals, nursing homes, and religious institutions throughout the Commonwealth of Kentucky. During this time, he saw how large corporations treated people, and he realized that people need aggressive, honest, experienced attorneys on their side. He has focused his practice on serving injury victims ever since.
Mr. Mushlin completed his undergraduate degree at Vanderbilt University and later earned his Juris Doctor (J.D.) law degree from the University of Kentucky Law School. While in law school, he served on the Kentucky Law Journal and won the first intra-state mock trial tournament. He is licensed to practice before all Kentucky state courts as well as the United States District courts for the Western and Eastern Districts of Kentucky, and the Sixth Circuit Court of Appeals.
As an FAA-certificated private pilot and an avid motorcycle enthusiast, Mr. Mushlin is particularly concerned with motorcycle accidents and aviation-related accidents, although his experience covers the full range of personal injury and wrongful death matters. If you have been involved in a motor vehicle accident, injured by a defective product or a victim of medical malpractice or any other personal injury, Mr. Mushlin can help you get everything you are entitled to under the law.
